Seasonal Affective Disorder effects a substantial number of the population during the duller months and is linked to our basic need of sunlight, which regulates our body clocks. As the winter period approaches, the amount and intensity of daylight decreases. The SAD Light uses two mini CCFT (cold cathode florescent tube) lamps for daylight simulation with a blue light spectrum. Small and portable for use anywhere a mains plug is available. Much more convenient than large tube units and better than LED versions as it does not create "spotting" in the eyes. The SAD light can also be used to combat the effect of jet lag.
